Coquillade Provence Resort & Spa: Dining in Style

Coquillade will reopen with three newly refreshed restaurants and a hotel bar, showcasing authentic Provencal cuisine, gourmet tapas, Italian specialties, and an array of international classics. Helmed by Chef Thierry Enderlin, the former fine dining Restaurant Coquillade will reopen as Avelan, where guests can indulge in the pairings of regional flavors with international classics for a gourmet trip around the world. The rebrand includes all new interiors from the lighting to the layout, along with a new a la carte menu designed to showcase a culinary affair of French and Japanese cuisine. The family-friendly Italian restaurant Cipressa (formally known as Il Ristorante) sits poolside, serving homemade “pasta fresca” and tasty wood-fired pizza. The new furnishings and textural additions bring Sicily to the South of France with hues of blue, yellow, and lemon tree backdrops. The vineyard facing restaurant Les Vignes has been enhanced with Provençal tones of grassy greens and radiant yellows, serving seasonal cuisine that draws on local produce from the Luberon region and Provence. The new and exclusive Bar Lalique which was inspired by master glassmaker Lalique, offers an array of delectable bites from pastries to sushi, and creative cocktails to sip around the fire at nightfall.

The cuisine at Coquillade is expertly paired with full-bodied vintages from the estate’s acclaimed Aureto winery. The Aureto vines flourish across nearly 90 acres of hillside vineyards, producing a range of cuvées reflecting the soul and authenticity of the renowned Luberon area. Aureto is also the only winery in the region to offer wine tastings and tours in the nearby ancient Broux Mines, providing a sensational glimpse into the region’s history.
