His stories also entailed covering such high-profile events as the Oscars in Los Angeles and the Kentucky Derby in Louisville. He has visited all 50 states and has written extensive travel stories about every section of the country, from Boston to Alaska and Alabama to the Midwest and the Rocky Mountains.
