An alluring seaside oasis steps away from the iconic Santa Monica Pier, Regent Santa Monica Beach is a new luxury destination resort set to debut just in time for summer.

Opening as the first destination in America from the reimagined Regent Hotels & Resorts brand (part of IHG Hotels & Resorts lifestyle portfolio), Regent Santa Monica Beach is a premier oceanfront resort scheduled to debut this summer in Santa Monica, California

Poised on the nation’s most renowned beach and California’s coveted coastline, Regent Santa Monica Beach will welcome guests with a sense of escape, offering stays inspired by coastal opulence and thoughtful luxury. Each of the 24 elegantly appointed suites and 143 serene guest rooms sets a new standard for spaciousness in Southern California, with rooms starting at 720 square feet. Each accommodation features luxe amenities, including views of the Pacific Ocean from a Juliet balcony, soaking bathtubs, rainfall showers, bidets, and double vanities.

The highlight of these residences is the 2,180-sq.-ft., two-story Atrium Suites, located on the second and third floors, and The Santa Monica Presidential Suite, housed on the eighth floor with a game room, living room, and four Juliet balconies encompassing the space. To further enhance visits, Regent Experience Agents meticulously tailor unique experiences for every guest space, ensuring that each stay is personalized to their preferences in scent, music, and literature.

“The addition of Regent Santa Monica Beach to the Santa Monica communities promises to deliver an unprecedented experience for travelers and locals alike,” said Younes Atallah, General Manager of the resort, in a press release. “With a commitment to distinguished, bespoke service alongside an alluring oceanfront location, we are eager to share this incredibly special property with the world and welcome guests to indulge in a modern evolution of traditional luxury.”

Guests can also enjoy a range of luxurious amenities before retiring to their rooms, including treatments at a healing wellness spa in partnership with Guerlain (a French beauty brand), a visit to the tranquil beachfront pool deck (plus seaside experiences with a beach butler), and indulge in chef-driven dining destinations.

Culinary delights will abound at Regent Santa Monica Beach with Orla, a new Mediterranean concept from James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina. The new signature dining destination will bring the coastal charm and flavors of the renowned destination to Santa Monica’s pristine shores.

“Orla is an incredibly personal concept for me, taking inspiration from my childhood,” shares Chef Michael Mina, in a press release. “The earthiness of za’atar, the tang of citrus, and the intricate layers of a perfectly cooked piece of fish or charcoal-grilled meat all take me back to the captivating flavors I grew up with and enjoyed around the table with my family.”

Alongside Orla, Sweet July, a retail shop and café, will debut at Regent Santa Monica Beach with celebrity entrepreneur and philanthropist Ayesha Curry at the helm. The lifestyle brand will offer bespoke products from black and woman-owned brands in its marketplace and Jamaican-inspired coffee, tea, morning pastries, and desserts in its café.
