The Redbury New York is a hotel like no other. The theatrical-themed hotel was launched in 2016 by the South Beach Entertainment Group (sbe), and always makes you feel like you were walking into a movie set Previously named the Martha Washington Hotel (which originally opened in 1903), this historic property had, then, a unique distinction: it was the first hotel in New York to provide lodging exclusively for professional women. From the original building and concept, there is only the exquisite Marta Restaurant that remains (named in honor of the original building), but the Redbury Hotel – that only has one other sister location: the Redbury South Beach – was rebranded as a posh and luxury sbe property that offers a funky and bold decor.

Designed and imagined by world-renowned photographer Matthew Rolston, the Redbury New York is diving deep into New York’s illustrious history as one of the birthplaces of American pop music and rock ‘n roll, incorporating elements of this narrative into the property’s 259 newly renovated guest rooms and interior. In addition to their unique artistic direction and decor, the Redbury New York also has something highly distinctive to offer: a complete, well-thought food offer signed by New York’s most wanted restaurateur.

The Redbury New York and Union Square Hospitality Group

The luxury boutique hotel located in the very trendy NoMad district partnered up with superstar New York restaurateur Denny Meyer to come up with their Food and Beverage offerings. Now, in addition to the highly popular Marta Restaurant & Bar that has been serving pizzas and cocktails since 2014 to a food enthusiastic crowd, the hotel inaugurated two new concepts with restaurateur Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group to complete their restaurant offerings. There are now three distinct and complimentary restaurant concepts within the luxury and funky boutique hotel: Caffe Marchio, serving homemade pastries and delicious coffee and Vini e Fritti, an aperitivo concept for wine, cocktails and happy hour snacks.

To highlight their strong foodie trademark, the hotel recently offered for the very first time a package that highlighted and offered guests a taste of all three venues. The Taste of the Redbury Package includes a food and beverage credit to try out all three venues. Guests can then have breakfast at Caffe Marchio, afterword have lunch or dinner at Marta and finish on a high note with drinks at Vini e Fritti. It is so rare to find a hotel where the food offerings are this uniquely amazing, and rarer still to find a hotel that makes it easy to enjoy all of their facilities and services. The Redbury is, for all these reasons, a unique property in a city where there is always more and more hotel openings. So, yes, you can find something different and interesting in New York City thanks to The Redbury.
