BottleRock Napa Valley offers the best in wine, food and craft brews to complement the music and create an authentic wine country experience for festival guests; allowing the opportunity for master sommeliers, celebrity chefs and dozens of the region’s finest vintners, restaurateurs, and brewers to rub shoulders with guests in an intimate setting. This event is sure to sell-out again this year as the bands and chefs hit the stages on May 27, 28 and 29, but it’s this benefit the evening before the action begins that has our attention. BottleRock Napa Valley is presenting the Second Annual Dinner and Concert at the beautiful Auberge du Soleil Resort in Rutherford, Napa Valley, featuring Michael Franti & Friends, and benefiting the Do It For The Love Foundation.
The benefit will include an intimate evening of cocktails, wine, food and music, culminating with a live performance by Do It For The Love Foundation founder and musician, Michael Franti, along with special surprise guests. All proceeds and revenues from the event will support the Do It For The Love Foundation, a non-profit wish-granting organization with a singular mission to bring hope through music to people living with life-threatening illnesses, children with severe challenges and wounded veterans. Sponsored in part by Mercedes-Benz, tickets are limited to 150 guests, and are $1,000 per person.
“Michael Franti is not only a friend to BottleRock, having performed many times at our festival, but is one of the kindest and most generous people we know,” stated Dave Graham, CEO of BottleRock Napa Valley and Latitude 38 Entertainment. “We are thrilled to be able to partner with Michael and Auberge du Soleil, and hope to raise a lot of money for this important organization.”
The event will include a cocktail reception with Michael Franti in the Michelin-Star Restaurant, followed by dinner prepared by Auberge du Soleil’s Executive Chef Robert Curry, expertly paired with wines from Domaine Anderson, Duckhorn Vineyards, Huneeus Vineyards, and Roederer Estate. Following dinner, Michael Franti & Friends will treat guests to an outdoor sunset concert on the picturesque terrace. After the performance, attendees will enjoy an After-Party Bubble Lounge with sparkling wine and house-made sweet treats from Auberge du Soleil Pastry Chef Paul Lemieux.
“We are honored to play a role in supporting the heartfelt and inspirational work of the Do It For The Love Foundation,” said George Goeggel, Auberge du Soleil Managing Partner. “We are grateful to the BottleRock Napa Valley team and to Mercedes-Benz for making this event possible so that we may bring music, food and wine lovers together to benefit this great cause.”
Tickets went on-sale to the general public on Tuesday, April 5 at www.bottlerocknapavalley.com. Do It For The Love is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.
