Giving Back

When work came to a grinding halt in March, Ella and her team went to work to design and produce face masks that were distributed to hospitals and first responders during the first few months of the pandemic. It was during this time that Ella’s friend, Susan Strassman, joined the efforts and together with Ella’s dedicated team, they were able to donate nearly 50,000 face masks.

“I felt so fortunate to be in a position to make a small contribution to an overwhelming shortage the hospitals were experiencing,” said Ella Pritsker.

It was certainly not her dream to make face masks, but it became her compass given the status of our world during these past several months. She worked directly with her team for countless hours to not only master the craftsmanship that lives up to the reputation she has created in the fashion industry, but to also give the masks a certain amount of flair and customization that is appreciated by the person wearing the masks.
