Summer plans usually include travel, and frequent travelers know that after a long flight even your skin looks tired. But what if you put as much thought into preparing your face for a flight as you do when packing your bags? Here are several of my “must have“ skincare products, and my routines for taking care of my skin during the summer travel season.
[dropcap size=small]1[/dropcap]Use an ultra-hydrating serum before bed – Arbonne RE9 Advanced Intensive Renewal Serum is a concentrated formula that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines. The advanced peptides, antioxidants and essential botanicals work in synergy to allow the formula to hold in moisture and help enhance the look of skin smoothness and firmness. It feels so light and smooth on your face. I take it aboard to revive my skin during the flight. $62
[dropcap size=small]2[/dropcap]Start your skincare routine off right by cleansing gently the day of travel – the neuRADIANCE instant cell exfoliator is an anti-inflammatory cleanser which warms the skin once applied and cools after you rinse it off. Emollient and skin conditioning meadowfoam seed oil delivers superior skin softening benefits leaving the skin calm and relaxed. I really like the slight tingling feeling, and my skin is definitely smoother and glows with regular use. $79
[dropcap size=small]3[/dropcap]Forget foundation, and instead opt for a natural tinted moisturizer – the Borghese Summer Glow Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 is the perfect oil-free tinted moisturizer to give you a luminous complexion. The mineral-based formula helps defend skin against sun damage with full-spectrum SPF protection. This is perfect for attending a summer wedding. Of course when I go to the beach a much higher SPF product is required. $32
[dropcap size=small]4[/dropcap]Gently treat puffy eyes before getting off your flight when needing to look refreshed – the Arbonne RE9 Advanced Lifting and Contouring Eye Cream targets skin tone and helps provide lifting and contouring benefits above and below the eye. Apply by patting gently to the upper brow and continuing around to the under eye area. I actually do this throughout my flight for best results. $60
[dropcap size=small]5[/dropcap]One of my favorite tools is Arbonne Intelligence® Genius Ultra. The small wand emits approximately 300,000 ultrasound waves and gently warms at the tip while massaging the product into the ridges of the skin. It allows the product to be absorbed faster and it gets right to work. I use it each evening with my facial serum, and it also relaxes me for bed. $280
