41 vine-covered cottages are spread across the lush hillsides of the 550-acre property, which was originally established as a citrus farm in the early 1800s. A Day of Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf: With advanced reservations, San Ysidro Ranch guests may reserve a day of golf at the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at the exclusive members-only Montecito Club, a partner property by Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts. The 18-hole, par-71, 6,540-yard course includes mature Monterey Cypress, Live Oak and Sycamore trees, Bent Grass greens, Platinum Paspalum turf throughout the tees, fairways and rough of the golf course surrounded by riparian grasses, wetlands and wildflowers. Native Santa Barbara sandstone found onsite during the construction of the golf course has been incorporated into the bridges and landscape features throughout the course.
