Paradisus by Meliá Continues to Expand and Improve in Mexico

Paradisus by Meliá is an all-inclusive luxury hotel brand owned and managed by Meliá Hotels International. This expanding brand currently has 17 hotels in total and 7 of them are located in Mexico. And, as for their Mexican offer, they are undoubtedly at the top of their game. Things are moving fast for Paradisus Hotels in Mexico with new openings and recent upgrades to their properties. Let’s have a look…

“Mexico is the most popular destination for the Canadian Market,” confirms Nathalie Carpentier, Eastern Canada Sales Manager for Melià Hotels International. “The Paradisus resorts offer unique room categories and luxury upgrade options, including Royal Service (adults only) and Family Concierge (families only).”

“It is because the VIP market is in full bloom,” explains Ms Carpentier. “We put a lot of effort into the Paradisus brand because it’s a product that works very well. Also, we keep on improving the Royal Service sections of these luxury all-inclusive hotels. More and more, people are asking for VIP treatments, exclusive sections and reserved areas within the hotel.”

Recent Upgrades

Paradisus Cancun, which is ideally located near the Cancun International Airport and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the “Zona Hotelera”, recently renovated for 2,6$ M all its suites and lounges from their Royal Service. The new generation of suites are now decorated in style with a decor inspired by the ocean and the surrounding nature. With luxury in-room amenities like: Nespresso machines and tea service, flat-screen plasma TV, glass-door shower and full-size patios, the brand-new Royal Service suites are designed to please a clientele in search of a premium luxury service.

The Royal Service, a Paradisus signature service, offers a luxury all-inclusive experience in a select and private area, reserved for adults only. Guests of the Royal Service can check-in at a private lobby lounge, where they can also enjoy drinks and snacks all-day, as well as live music at night. All Paradisus Royal Service guests also get their own private butler to assist them for whatever they need: from pillow menu to VIP reservations and special requests, everything is taken care of. What I personally enjoyed during my last stay was the complimentary ironing service. Every night, during my stay, I would ask my designated butler to iron my dress for the evening. It is definitely true luxury when you don’t have to iron your wrinkled traveling clothes yourself.

Paradisus Playa Del Carmen La Perla (Royal Service-adults only) and Paradisus Playa Del Carmen La Esmeralda are two sister properties located side by side just outside Playa Del Carmen. The luxury complex of 900 suites recently renovated their gorgeous signature YHI Spa that offers a full water circuit, dry & wet sauna, a therapeutic pool and 14 treatment cabins. In addition, Paradisus Playa Del Carmen treated itself to a brand-new Moët & Chandon counter.

The La Perla building is where you will find the Royal Service section, catering to adults only. The 394 luxury suites are all offering a large bathtub on the patio or a direct access to the reserved pool of the Royal Service section. The suites are modern and the decor is inspired by the ocean, offering soothing tones of blue and white. The Junior Suites even have an aquarium-inspired LED bed head, and they all offer the same luxury amenities as the other Paradisus.

What I liked about this particular hotel were the rooms, which are not only beautiful, very spacious as well as the signature YHI spa that is absolutely spectacular. Located just outside busy Playa Del Carmen, Paradisus Playa del Carmen, located on a quiet beach in the middle of nature, offers peace of mind far from the crowd.
