Indulge in California‘s finest at the 21st iteration of Celebrate the Craft culinary festival at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, San Diego’s prestigious AAA Five Diamond resort. This food fête will take place on April 14, showcasing the region’s most esteemed artisans and connoisseurs.
With breathtaking views overlooking the renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course, Celebrate the Craft is one of the most highly anticipated culinary festivals taking place in San Diego, drawings hundreds of gourmands as they converge at The Lodge at Torrey Pines on April 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Curated by The Lodge’s executive chef, Kelli Crosson, and corporate culinary advisor for Evans Hotels, Jeff Jackson, guests will embark on a gastronomic journey of the region as they mingle with fellow food enthusiasts. The event will showcase 24 of the area’s top chefs, vintners, producers, and more, offering an assortment of samples to indulge in.
Participating chefs include Roberto Alcocer, the executive chef of Valle; Paul Arias, the executive chef of Oceana Coastal Kitchen; Shihomi Borillo, the owner of Kinme; Drew Deckman, a Michelin Star chef/owner of Deckman’s Restaurant Group, among many others.
19 farms, ranches, fishermen, and other artisans will be in attendance, providing fresh produce and other ingredients. Some highlights include Andrade Farms, Black Hat Bread, Bread & Cie, Coleman Family Farms, Dassi Family Farm, Drake Family Farms, El Faro Seafood, and Fishbone.
Wine enthusiasts will rejoice as Paul Krikorian, The Lodge’s expert sommelier, has handpicked a collection of esteemed California vintners for Celebrate the Craft, including Ancient Peaks, DAOU Family Estates, Far Niente Winery, Frog’s Leap Winery, and Golden Door (to name a few). The event will also feature a selection of craft beers and spirits, with tastings from Rough Draft Brewing Company, You & Yours Distilling Co., and San Diego Mixology.
Tickets for Celebrate the Craft are $250 per person and include tastings of culinary delights, beverages, complimentary valet, and self-parking. For an exclusive experience, opt for the VIP package at $350 per person, featuring a private seating area in the luxurious Gamble Suite and access to exclusive reserve wines.
Guests can further immerse themselves in the experience with the Celebrate the Craft Room Package, offering a one-night stay on event day. This bundle includes two general admission tickets to the event and the option to upgrade to the Palisade room overlooking the Torrey Pines Golf Course.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Ecology Center, supporting Southern California’s ecological movement.
