Set sail across Asia aboard Luminara, the latest addition to The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. This exclusive super-yacht will guide guests through carefully curated itineraries between December 2025 and May 2026, navigating 28 ports across 10 countries, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, and beyond. Each voyage is thoughtfully designed with overnight stays in Asia’s most iconic destinations, immersing travelers in the region’s colorful markets, ancient temples, and dynamic urban landscapes.
Departing just in time to witness the famed cherry blossoms and the vibrant onset of spring in Asia, The Ritz-Carlton has meticulously curated 10 new luxury Pacific cruises aboard its newest super-yacht, Luminara. These exclusive voyages include multiple expeditions from Singapore to China, Tokyo to Tokyo, China to Singapore, and singular journeys from China to Japan, Japan to China, and Japan to Seward, Alaska.
“As luxury travelers continue to seek unforgettable, personalized experiences around the world, we are thrilled to introduce voyages in the Asia-Pacific region,” says Jim Murren, executive chairman and CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, in a press release. “These new itineraries exemplify our steadfast commitment to continually raising the bar in luxury cruising, offering innovative ways to experience our super-yachts and explore vibrant local cultures across the globe.”
Each adventure aboard The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s Luminara explores the splendor of the destination, from the stunning limestone islets of Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay to cultural capitals like Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. For example, during the 12-day voyage from Singapore to China, travelers will navigate the azure waters of the Sulu Sea, passing through the enchanting islands of the Philippines, where forested mountains give way to pristine white sand beaches in Koh Samui.
The 12-night cruise from China to Japan will take guests across East Asia, starting in Shanghai, where the tranquil 16th-century Yu Garden offers a serene escape amidst the city’s towering skyscrapers (including the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower). From Shanghai, travelers will sail to South Korea’s vibrant capital, Seoul, before arriving in Japan just in time for cherry blossom season.
One of the highlights of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s new offerings is the trans-Pacific journey from Japan to the United States. This 15-night adventure begins in Japan’s northernmost islands, including a stop at the historic fortress of Goryōkaku in Hakodate, now a tranquil public park enveloped by cherry blossoms. As Luminara crosses the Pacific, guests will venture to the rugged wilderness in Seward, Alaska, stopping at a wildlife refuge on Kodiak Island.
“Today’s sophisticated adventurers seek intimate, authentic, personalized journeys that go well beyond traditional hospitality, and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection offers guests unparalleled access to the world’s most exquisite destinations, all while enjoying the hallmarks of luxury and personalized service for which The Ritz-Carlton brand is renowned,” says Jenni Benzaquen, senior vice president of The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, in a press release.
Prices for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection expeditions start at $8,300 for the Japan to USA trip and can reach as high as $17,700 for voyages from Japan to China. For more information, visit ritzcarltonyachtcollection.com.
