Honoring its ongoing commitment to utter opulence, stellar service, and rejuvenating experiences in the heart of New York City’s Billionaire’s Row, Park Hyatt New York is set to undergo a multimillion-dollar makeover. The new refresh, coinciding with the AAA Five-Diamond hotel’s 10th year, will include the all-new 3,500-sq.-ft. Manhattan Suite on the top floor of the 25-story hotel, the relocation of the signature Rossano Ferretti Hairspa and Spa Nalai, and updates to the hotel’s exclusive specialty suites.
“We are thrilled to unveil this remarkable transformation as we celebrate our 10th anniversary,” says Laurent Ebzant, area VP/general manager of Park Hyatt New York, in a press release. “The introduction of the Manhattan Suite and the upgrades to our existing product reflect our unwavering commitment to providing guests with the most tailored and elevated hospitality experience. We are confident this renovation will set the standard for the next decade of excellence in New York’s luxury hotel landscape.”
Designed to provide travelers with an authentic New York experience (and a home away from home for locals), the new Manhattan Suite offers a refined, residential-style retreat. The new accommodation resides in a private wing on the hotel’s top floor, offering stunning views of Central Park from 18-ft. floor-to-ceiling windows. The suite will comprise three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a dining room, a living area, a wet bar, a private office, and a luxurious balcony.
A sophisticated design will encompass the Manhattan Suite with sleek skyscraper-inspired tones, minimalist decor, rich walnut paneling, and imported travertine stone. The space will also double as a gallery with curated artwork, sculptures, and designer furnishings.
Specialty accommodations are also set to be upgraded, including new soft linens from Sferra on Bryte Balance king-sized beds, and a unique multi-sensory AI-powered technology to ease jet lag and ensure a deeply restful slumber. Other luxuries can be found in the bathrooms, where powder rooms are fitted with Le Labo amenities, the latest hair dryer by Rossano Ferretti, a dual vanity, a walk-in rain shower, a marble soaking tub, heated marble floors, a Toto electric toilet, and a mirror-embedded TV. These new additions are set to debut in January.
While the Rossano Ferretti Hairspa relocated to its new space in June, Spa Nalai will reopen in its new home near Park Hyatt New York’s renowned indoor saltwater pool this fall. The spa will continue offering its signature experiences, including rejuvenating massages and facial treatments.
