This December, Phuket will once again be the premier destination for the most exclusive invitation-only superyacht event, Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous (KRSR). In collaboration with Kata Rocks, Infinite Luxury is very proud to again host the KRSR and bring back some of the world’s most iconic superyacht brands to Southeast Asia’s leading luxury destination and superyacht hot spot. From December 8th-10th, this invitation only rendezvous will feature a series of bespoke activities, glamorous parties and social events that effortlessly mix networking and socializing in a relaxed and luxurious environment – Kata Rocks is a sensational getaway with amazing villas, and a LuxeGetaways favorite.

This year’s exciting three-day social program includes Contest Yachts’ Brand launch in Asia, a welcome reception and a cruise with the fleet for a private gourmet BBQ at The Surin Phuket. There are also numerous private cocktail parties including the Burgess brunch on board Northern Sun, the Lee Marine Champagne tasting in The Wine Cellar, the Royal Huisman Private Brunch in a Kata Rocks’ Penthouse, the Boat International Cocktail Party, superyacht owners’ dinners, the Champagne media breakfast, a ‘yacht hop’ and ‘big boy’s toys’ presented by Sea-Doo, the Northrop & Johnson sunset cruise on board the Zeelander and the grand finale, the Kata Rocks Charter Season Opening Party. LuxeGetaways is thrilled to once again collaborate with Kata Rocks, Infinite Luxury and KRSR as a media partner for this exclusive event.

“I am very proud of the entire team, in just two years they have helped establish KRSR as the must attend superyacht event in Asia,” said Richard Pope, CEO Infinite Luxury. “It already is known as the most exclusive invitation-only superyacht happening in the region, welcoming superyacht owners, Kata Rocks villa owners and the Asian glitterati.”

Feadship, the famed Dutch superyacht builder with roots dating back to 1849, will return to the KRSR as a co-sponsor and will also be hosting the exclusive superyacht owners’ dinner for a second consecutive year. While Benetti, one of Italy’s most prestigious motor yacht brands with over 144 years of experience, has signed on to co-host the Benetti and VistaJet Owner’s Dinner, in partnership with a new addition to the KRSR: VistaJet, an innovative business model that offers customers a bespoke subscription of flight hours that can be used anywhere and at any time with service to 187 countries worldwide.

“We are pleased to welcome VistaJet, a highly respected leader in the private jet industry in the KRSR,” said Michael Nurbatlian, Director of Marketing Infinite Luxury. “The synergies between superyachts, luxury villas, and private jets creates a perfect partnership that will further position Phuket as an elite yachting and luxury destination in Southeast Asia”

Other brands present at the event will include Azimut, Camper & Nicholsons International, Hemisphere Crew Solutions, Princess Yachts Southeast Asia, Sanlorenzo, Seal Superyachts and Simpson Marine.

The Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous continues its mission to elevate Phuket to elite destination status. The event has brought Phuket to the forefront of the superyachting world, allowing the city to claim its rightful position as the region’s superyacht hotspot. By enticing visitors to sample a multitude of new and exciting experiences surrounded by the pristine beauty of Thailand’s Andaman sea, Phuket has captured the interest and imagination of Ultra High Worth Individuals (UHWI) and yachting’s sophisticated elite. It remains the region’s marquee attraction, with its relatively unexplored waters, where less than 10% of all superyachts have ever dropped anchor.

The KRSR has put Phuket firmly on the global yachting map as the hub of the Asia Pacific region, which altogether offers a vast, multicultural cruising ground that is more than five times the size of traditional superyacht playgrounds like the Caribbean islands.

“The KRSR really set the bar last year and we had some great conversations with owners at Monaco about attending the event this year, as the perfect way to kick off the Asian charter season,” said Stewart Campbell, Editor Boat International. “It is already established as the leading luxury superyacht event in Asia as owners look for alternative cruising grounds and new charter opportunities.”
