Charlotte is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, with the airport being ranked the fifth busiest in the country. The city was originally formed at the crossroads of two Native American trading paths – Trade and Tryon. The Ivey’s Hotel has just celebrated their grand opening, and is already quickly gathering a lot of buzz. Originally, the building was Ivey’s Department Store that was opened in the early 1900’s, and designed by famed architect William H. Peeps. Now, after a multi-million dollar renovation, The Ivey’s Hotel is bringing an entirely new level of boutique luxury to Charlotte. Located in the heart of Charlotte’s Uptown central business district and entertainment zone, we think that this hotel will be a game-changer for Charlotte.
