Eric Hrubant is the Chief Travel Planning Officer and CEO of CIRE Travel in New York City, which is supported by the global force of Tzell Travel Group. Working with a dedicated team, CIRE Travel excels in working closely with its clients to be their allies in seamlessly developing and executing a variety of travel needs – including corporate/personal travel, groups and honeymoons. With so much hype around family travel destinations throughout the entire summer, Eric wanted to highlight three unique family friendly destinations that he would recommend to families throughout the entire year. Especially in the early weeks of autumn when the crowds have lessened and the weather is only getting better by the day, these destinations are guaranteed to keep the entire family entertained.
The Resort at Paws Up
At the crossroads of incomparable luxury and unspoiled wilderness lies The Resort at Paws Up. Distinguishing itself from other luxury resorts in Montana, it offers an enchanting escape into the Rocky Mountains in Montana. The Resort at Paws Up is Montana’s premier luxury ranch resort situated on a sprawling 37,000-acre working cattle ranch in central, western Montana. Unique to The Resort at Paws Up is its commitment to luxury, service and a diversity of activities – offering first-class, personalized service, luxurious accommodations (28 private vacation homes and 24 luxury camping tents), wilderness adventures and a myriad of amenities to its guests.
This is a great option with so many activities for all ages; and is especially great for multi-generation families. The Resort at Paws Up offers rooms in their resort as well as private homes and even luxury camping for those wanting the “camping experience” without venturing too far away from luxury resort amenities.
Four Seasons Resort Orlando
The Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World is actually located within the gates of Walt Disney World Resort, and is Central Florida’s only AAA Five Diamond Resort. This resort is an idyllic blend of Disney benefits with the Four Seasons experience that the guests desire. Create a Four Seasons-only getaway, with golf, spa and a fun-filled island for kids, or make Four Seasons your base for a Disney adventure for a full immersion adventure, or for just a taste. While parents are perfectly content with the golf, spa and other amenities, the kids love the water slides, lazy river, climbing wall and the special activities just for them.
This is a fun option anytime of the year, as they have a great kids club and an amazing Waterpark. Kids don’t want to leave the resort! I can testify as I took my nephew last year and he absolutely loved it. They also have a character breakfast onsite in their restaurant that is fantastic, and much more intimate with characters who truly engage with the kids (as you would expect at a Four Seasons resort).
Montage Laguna Beach
Perched on a coastal bluff high above the Pacific, Montage Laguna Beach resort offers 30 acres of seaside luxury at the heart of Southern California’s preeminent artist colony. Each of the 250 guestrooms feature sprawling views of the ocean, as well as craftsman-style architecture and a museum-quality collection of art. Resort guests have exclusive access to a wide selection of amenities, including rejuvenating wellness options at the 20,000-square-foot Spa Montage; gourmet dining at Studio, The Loft, or Mosaic Bar and Grille; outdoor relaxing by one of two onsite pool decks; and much more.
The location of this resort is beautiful, and kids always love the pool and the views out over the Pacific Ocean. It also has large suites and residences so families have more space to move around. One of my favorite offerings at the hotel is the Pacific Dream Photography class, which is a 45-minute class that makes any person a winner at Instagram!
