Earlier this year, The Villa by Barton G was opened to reclaim the grand and over-the-top lavishness found at the former Versace Mansion. Along with the intriguing suites, the bespoke culinary experience of a lifetime can be discovered at the restaurant, Il Sole (Italian for “The Sun”).

The Nakash Family acquired the property last year, and have brought in renowned events impresario and restaurateur Barton G. Weiss to manage the property, and allow for a rare opportunity for guests to get reacquainted with the former residence of famed fashion designer, Gianni Versace.

With seating for only 30 guests, Il Sole is sure to impress the most discerning critics. Here Executive Chef Scott Linquist and Executive Pastry Chef Luis Vasquez go above and beyond each night to use the freshest of ingredients while developing an intimate journey of gourmet dining at its finest. “Recalling our earlier days at The Villa, it is particularly gratifying to return and once again invite the community into this extraordinary landmark of hospitality,” said Barton G. Weiss.

To celebrate World Cup, this refreshing martini showcases the colors of the Brazilian flag and is sure to quench your summer thirst. Cheers!
