What Are the Three New Lopesan Resorts in Punta Cana?
Each of the three new Lopesan resorts offers a different experience. Lopesan Caoba Lagoon is built around water-inspired features and will also cater to meetings and events; Lopesan Serenity Bay offers an adults-only setting; and Lopesan Splash Cove focuses on families and multigenerational vacations. The resorts were designed in collaboration with HKS Architects and its hospitality design division, ROAM. With 554 rooms, Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort Spa & Casino is the largest of the three new properties, featuring water incorporated throughout its design. Ten waterfalls, cenote-inspired elements, and a 127-meter-long lagoon pool are among the features that shape the property’s outdoor spaces and overall guest experience.
The property will also be home to the new Lopesan Convention Center, with capacity for more than 2,000 attendees. The venue expands the complex beyond leisure travel, providing space for conferences, meetings, corporate events, and other large gatherings.
Lopesan Serenity Bay Offers an Adults-Only Resort Experience
Lopesan Serenity Bay Spa & Casino is the adults-only option within the new resort complex, featuring 239 rooms, dedicated dining venues, pools, and relaxation spaces. Guests looking for a quieter home base can stay within the adults-only property while still having access to the restaurants, entertainment, and nightlife available throughout the larger Lopesan destination. This setup gives travelers more flexibility than a traditional standalone adults-only resort. Guests can spend time at Serenity Bay’s pools and dining venues or explore The Boulevard and other shared areas of the resort complex.
Lopesan Splash Cove Focuses on Family Travel
Lopesan Splash Cove Spa & Casino is the most family-focused of the three new resorts, with 242 rooms and plenty of ways for kids and adults to spend time together. The resort features a wave pool, water park attractions, sports activities, and family-friendly entertainment, while guests can also explore the restaurants, shops, and entertainment at The Boulevard. Its location within the larger Lopesan complex gives families access to more dining and activities beyond the resort itself without having to travel elsewhere in Punta Cana.

The Boulevard is the central dining and entertainment district connecting the three new resorts. Designed as an open-air promenade, the walkable area features restaurants, cocktail bars, nightlife venues, shopping, an 820-seat theater, and casino experiences. Instead of limiting guests to the restaurants and entertainment available at their individual resort, The Boulevard provides a central area where travelers staying at all three properties can spend time throughout their vacation. The setup creates more variety for longer stays and groups traveling together who may have different interests.
Lopesan Expands Its Presence in the Dominican Republic
The simultaneous opening of the three resorts represents an investment of more than $350 million and adds more than 1,000 rooms to Lopesan Hotel Group’s portfolio in Punta Cana. The company welcomed its inaugural travelers with a “First Guest Experience” that included airport transportation, ceremonial resort welcomes, enhanced amenities, and complimentary three-night return stay certificates for U.S.-based guests. The expansion is also expected to have an economic impact on the surrounding community. Approximately 700 jobs were created during the initial opening phase, with more than 1,100 positions expected once the complex reaches full operational capacity.
