From sleeping in an igloo to paddleboarding in fjords to witnessing the neon-hued Northern Lights, Greenland is a country of endless excitement and natural wonders. Adventure Life, a pioneer in crafting journeys that venture off the beaten path, has welcomed its very first collection of land-based tours with once-in-a-lifetime options for both summer and winter travel.
“After years of booking expedition cruises to Greenland that briefly bring guests on shore, we’re excited to offer our first true land tours there,” says Monika Sundem, CEO of Adventure Life, in a press release. “These new tours take in the rich culture, unique wildlife, and breathtaking landscape of this Arctic territory in summer and winter. Visiting requires an adventurous spirit, with excursions on foot and by dogsled, snowmobile, boat, and air, but also includes cozy accommodations and even Michelin-star dining.”
Adventure Life’s new land-based Greenland tours speak to the most venturesome travelers who also enjoy the finer things in life. While some tours may call for dog sledding, scaling glaciers by foot, or sleeping on a black-sand beach, along the way participants also learn about Inuit culture, Greenlandic history, and modern life in the Arctic.
The tours include accommodations, meals, activities, and ground transportation. International and internal flights, and activities during free time excluded. Read on for Adventure Life’s new Greenland tours:
