The first Wellendorff jewelry boutique in North America officially opened its doors this month in San Francisco. The Wellendorff boutique at The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco is located at 600 Stockton Street between Pine and California streets.

Wellendorff, considered one of the finest German jewelers since 1893, features signature hand-crafted designs like their Diamond W, 18-karat gold “silk rope” chains, spinning rings, woven gold, and cold enamels worked into exacting designs. Exceptional workmanship has made Wellendorff the choice of royalty, and those of discerning taste for more than a century.

To commemorate the San Francisco opening, the Wellendorff boutique at The Ritz Carlton offers an exclusive special edition, hand-turned white gold San Francisco ring featuring an elaborate silhouette of the Golden Gate Bridge inside the ring. Also if you care to see the rarely exhibited 18-karat Wellendorff Golden Belt, it will be on display at the store. The Golden Belt is 33 inches (86cm) in length, and woven of gold intricately crafted from four miles of 18-karat gold filament.

“As we celebrate our first boutique in North America, we also celebrate the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the Wellendorff story,” said Christoph Wellendorff, a fourth generation owner of the 123-year-old family business.  “As our client base in the U.S. has expanded, we have been eager to be closer to those esteemed customers and to deepen the relationship with more personalized service and a more complete offering of our products.”

The Wellendorff boutique at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco is designed to enhance your experience of the exquisite jewelry with bright, warm colors, unique tones and beautiful floral patterns to create an elegantly comfortable and welcoming space for browsing.
